As if cheering the brutal onslaught of Gaza is not bad enough, a French newspaper owned by Israeli billionaire, Patrick Drahi, has sunk to new depths of depravity. The Liberation published a cartoon mocking Palestinians who don’t have food to break their fast during the holy month of Ramadan.
It shows a woman shouting ‘not before sunset’ at a man chasing rats in a street surrounded by destroyed buildings.
Israel has blockaded the Gaza Strip since October last year, preventing the delivery of supplies and pushing its population to the brink of starvation. In the last few days 20 Palestinian children have died from a lack of food, according to the UN.
