Why are Africans deemed incapable of forming their own political opinions without external influence? That’s the question our sister Adiaha Young asks in this video clip, in response to the US assault against our channel with the false claim of being ‘Kremlin propagandists.’ Following the baseless allegation by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on 13th September, African Stream has been banned from platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Threads.
Young highlights that, for a long time, the West has portrayed Africans as lacking the intellectual capacity to form and own independent political opinions. Whenever they’ve stood up against imperialism, the West claimed that there was a ‘foreign master’ pulling the strings behind the curtain. When citizens of countries such as Zimbabwe, South Africa, Namibia, Angola and Mozambique rose up to fight against racist settler-colonial regimes, they were quickly labelled agents of ‘Soviet Communism’ and not citizens who were genuinely fighting for their freedom.
Decades later, the West is still using the same tactics.

It annoys me so much that they can disrespect African with such a broad brush and none of the over 50 state leaders said a thing.
They literally said in the broad day light that Africans cannot think for themselves and all the news ate produced by the Russians.
Am so annoyed that I still 2024 cannot do anything after hearing such senseless nonsense.
I have no idea how but we will get our own internet infrastructure and our own platforms.
Every African needs to hear what these white supremacists think about us Africans.
It’s time to acknowledge that we are not fighting against racism we are in life or death war against white supremacy.
Now they are recovering from the damage they did to themselves in WW1 and WW2.
We love you africa stream. I will continue watching you on your website. Also get on odyssey. One of my favorite apps.
This s banning is the latest iteration of “Massa don’t want none of them negras reading none.”
Basically, just like they didn’t want the enslaved to learn to read and therefore outlawed reading centuries ago; SAME NOW.
They don’t want us informed about people, places, events, that PROVE the systematic oppression of the African Diaspora, abd the meddling in African affairs .
Make African Stream your default home page! Read it TWICE A DAY.
_uck this BS ! How dare they!
Ought to stop reacting to their shenanigans.
Strategise for the relentless destabilisation.
